Best Netflix Series To Binge Watch
Struggling to find the right Netflix for your Netflix and chill? Well, look no further, because we’ve got the guide to the best binge-worthy series around. Just add wine and PJ’s.
Love is Blind
It’s insane, ridiculously addictive and we are COMPLETELY obsessed. Love is Blind puts the old adage to the test and rounds up a group of unlucky-in-love singles for a ten day dating experiment with only two possible outcomes - break it off, or get engaged. Oh, and all of this is decided without ever seeing each other - sound insane? It is! Contestants communicate only through the frosted glass of their isolation pods whilst deciding whether or not to get engaged, all sight unseen. The surviving couples then live together for a month pre-wedding, and yes, it is as wild of a ride as you would imagine. Get ready to binge this one, girls.
The Stranger
Based on the Harlan Coben novel of the same name, The Stranger is Netflix’s latest nail biting crime thriller. The story follows the mysterious Stranger, who reveals devastating secrets to the families living within a seemingly perfect, close knit community. As the story unravels, the secrets continue to pile up - my advice? Don’t make any plans after you start this one - you’ll be in hook, line and sinker.
Next in Fashion
Headed up by duo of dreams Alexa Chung and Tan France, Next in Fashion sees 18 designers from around the world compete to win $250,000 and become the industry's next big thing. And these guys aren’t amateurs - the contestants have worked as ghost designers for huge fashion houses, and had their designs worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears, so you can look forward to seeing some phenomenal creations strutting down the runway. There’s just enough drama, paired with an ultra-likeable cast and an A-list rotation of design royalty acting as guest judges - just try not to binge it all in one go. Or do, who am I to judge?
Sex Education
Sex Education is back with a second series, and showing no signs of slowing down. It’s just as NSFW, just as hilarious, and the cast are just as stellar - if not more so. We join the sixth formers as they continue to stumble through their (often failed) sexual escapades, and see some seriously welcome screen time from the Goddess that is Gillian Anderson. Wonderfully well written, and filled to the brim with joy, heartbreak and the intricacies of intimacy - look no further for your next round of feel-good viewing.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Sabrina Spellman is back, and spookier than ever. This dark retelling of The Teenage Witch follows a young Sabrina as she navigates the horror and occult of the witching world. Series 3 is just as spellbinding, with Kiernan Shipka leading our star studded ensemble through the gates of Hell. The supporting cast boasts legendary figures Michelle Gomez as Miss Wardwell (post demonic possession), the lovely Lucy David as Aunty Hilda, and Gavin Leatherwood as a young Nicholas Scratch - and TBH, any scene featuring him is worth the watch.
