OK, I’ve heard the hype, seen it all over Instagram and spotted it in Elle/ Glamour/ Daily Mail ...but what exactly IS Roccabox?
Roccabox is a deluxe beauty box filled with a minimum of 5 (and often more) of the hottest, latest and most talked-about beauty products, strictly from premium luxe and leading beauty brands. Here’s the thing: we have an in-house team of beauty experts and every month they use their VIP access and industry knowledge to jump the waiting lists and bring you the cosmetics - skincare, bodycare, haircare, make-up and fragrance - that have got all the beauty editors in a spin. Our carefully curated beauty packages - containing only the products that our beauty experts fell in love with - are then delivered straight to your door, bringing you a hit of beauty from the cult, deluxe, high-end brands you’ve been meaning to try, so that you can decide what’s hot (and what’s not - we all have different tastes!) from the comfort of your own bathroom.
A monthly subscription with us means that a brand new Roccabox Luxe will land on your doorstep every single month. Make sure you keep an eye out for our limited edition boxes too - we launch these extra-special boxes throughout the year and they make a great gift to someone you love (that includes yourself, of course...)
What products will I receive?
Our lips are sealed! Every month is a mystery - but that’s all part of the fun! Both our monthly boxes and our limited edition boxes are themed, with a genius mix of goodies following that theme, and always contain a minimum of five products, from strictly-deluxe brands. What we can also guarantee is that every single product is beauty expert approved: and trust us, our beauty team know their stuff.
How does the subscription work?
You can sign up for a ‘pay-as-you-go’ rolling subscription, where you’re charged every month. Or, you can opt for a 3, 6 or 12-month contract paid upfront (FYI this makes a great gift!)
Can I cancel it?
Yep! We’d be really sad to see you go though.
You will need to cancel your subscription before the 20th of the month (when payment is taken), or you will still be billed and receive your box.
This means that to opt out of a September box, you would need to have cancelled by 20th August.
This also means that ordering a box after the 20th of the month, means you'll be getting the next month's box too.
I’m not receiving your emails, what should I do?
We send all emails to the email address registered on your account. So, double check we’ve got the right one. If it’s right, check your junk or spam, they might be getting stopped by the spam filter. If you fancy some beauty insider emails in your inbox, but haven’t yet bought from us, you can sign-up on our homepage, or send an email to email@example.com and we can pop you onto the mailing list.
Are there any hidden costs?
Nope! Honesty is the best policy. The box costs £15 per month (bargain), plus postage, which is £3.95 per box.
When are the boxes delivered?
We aim to pack and send our boxes before the 7th of the month. If they’re any later, we’ll keep you updated through our social media channels. Follow us on @roccaboxuk (Instagram, Facebook & Twitter). We’ll send an email on the 1st of the month advising what date the boxes are expected to be dispatched.
What can I do with my account?
After your first purchase, you’ll be able to enter your email and make a password. Et voila, your Roccabox account is ready to go! Here, you can make changes to your shipping / billing address, payment deets and subscription cancellation.
How do I change my shipping address / email address?
You can change your address on your Roccabox account, or pop your new address into an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, we’ll sort it for you.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Just log into your Roccabox account and you’ll see an option to cancel your subscription. But, we’ll be super sad to see you go!
You will need to cancel your subscription before the 20th of that month, or you will be billed and receive your box.
For example, in order to cancel the September 2021 box, you will need to cancel your subscription by 20th August 2021. You can return your box for a fee, please see our Returns Policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
Pretty much all of them, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and AMEX, so don’t sweat it!
Can I suspend or pause the subscription?
You can make changes to your subscription on your Roccabox account. Though, to pause or suspend, you’d have to cancel the subscription then resubscribe when you’re ready.
What if I order mid-month?
If you place an order mid-month, we'll ship the next working day and you'll receive that month's box. You'll then be charged again on the 1st, for the following month's box.
How do I use my discount code?
Any discount codes are applied when you go through to payment. On the right side of the screen, there is a box to pop in discount codes.
What happens if I have a reaction to something inside the box?
We’re really sorry if this happens! We take reactions very seriously, though unfortunately they’re out of our control and we can’t hold liability. All products have been tried and tested by the featured brands, we’d recommend you carefully check the ingredients of each product before using. If in doubt, don’t risk it.
Will I like the contents?
We include a real mixture to suit all tastes, so we’re sure there’ll be at least one thing in your box that is your new can’t-live-without product! Our super-squad of Roccababes work tirelessly behind the scenes to carefully test, try out and edit everything you find in your box- if it hasn’t got our team all excited then it doesn’t stand a chance! However we appreciate everyone has different skin concerns, hair types, likes and dislikes… all our Roccabox customers are fabulously unique so we know that not everything can be to everyone’s taste. Which is why we love to hear your feedback- so please let us know what you think! We send out monthly surveys asking how you found the products, to help us become even better for your future boxes. What brands do you work with?
Only the very best! That’s our number one concern: we only include brands that we would be proud to feature in our own make-up bag/bathroom cabinet/Insta selfies. So whether we’re introducing you to sh*t hot emerging brands that haven’t yet made it onto your radar or treating you to the lusted-after brands with waiting lists as long as our arms, we only give you the very best. We also make sure we always give you a decent mix of brands, ranging from niche to premium and everything in between. Our brands page gives a full list of who we've worked with this year.
What countries do you ship to?
At the moment, we only ship inside the UK.
What courier do you use?
We use Royal Mail, shipping on 48 hour delivery.
What happens if I receive something that’s damaged?
We’re really sorry if you received something damaged, sometimes the boxes may be handled a little too heavy in transit. Pop it into an email with a pic of the product, to email@example.com within 14 days of receiving, we’ll try and get it sorted for you!
What happens if I am missing something inside the box?
Again, we’re really sorry you didn’t receive something inside your box, we can understand how frustrating that must be! Drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll sort it for you.
Help! My box hasn’t arrived!
Ah, how annoying! We post via Royal Mail on 48-hour service, though sometimes they’re a little slow, so please allow up to 7 days after receiving your shipping email… just in case. If it’s still not with you, check to see if you’ve received a note, it might have been returned to the post office, where you have 18 days to collect from your local sorting office or request a re-delivery. Drop us an email at email@example.com within 14 days of shipment if you have any further issues, we may be able to sort a replacement.
What if my replacement doesn’t arrive?
Sometimes, the odds just aren’t in our favour. Packages can get lost in the post and therefore don’t reach you. As much as we wish it was, this is out of our control and we can only apologise! Please contact us within 14 working days of the delivery date, and we’ll try our very best to provide another replacement, or offer a refund if we are out of stock. Double check your address on your Roccabox account, just to make sure everything is correct. Any queries outside of 14 days may not be eligible for refund or replacement.
My box has been sent back to you!
Royal Mail will have tried to deliver your box, but not been able to reach you. In this case, he leaves a little red note advising your box is at your local sorting office. You’ve got 18 days after attempted delivery for either collection (don’t forget your ID), or redelivery. After this, it’s sent back to us. We get it, sometimes you lucky lot are away on your holidays, or just busy with life! No worries, just let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can resend it for just a £3.95 charge of redelivery.
Can I return my box?
Any problems with your box, please let us know at email@example.com, we’ll try our best to get it sorted for you.
Can I subscribe for the box as a gift for someone else?
Yeah, course! We offer some fab gift boxes which you can view on the ‘Gifts’ section of our site. These can be given as a one-off gift to someone else, or a lil’ treat for yourself. A subscription gift is also a really cute and thoughtful present that keeps on giving every month! Sign up with your payment deets, but with their address, we’ll post it out to them every month. Drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with their email address, we’ll put them on our mailing list so they know when to expect their box every month.
