Why do we love it?

Recently we’ve been hearing so many complaints from our Roccababes about ‘mask-ne’ – pimples erupting on congested, face-mask covered skin. According to dermatologists salicylic acid is key to clearing congestion, reducing inflammation, targeting breakouts and tackling acne-prone areas, and as this concentrate (which hails from one of Kylie Jenner’s favourite high street skincare brands, no less) contains 2% Salicylic Acid, this powerful concentrate is one of the most concentrated - read effective - formulas on the market.

 How do we use it?

We use it all over spot-prone areas twice a week, massaging 2 or 3 drops onto freshly cleansed skin. We stick to using it on evenings only – it’s more effective when not covered by make-up – plus we follow the same advice as when using retinol, and follow up with an SPF the morning after we’ve used it, just in case skin is left a little sensitive.
